While Mommy is away!

Scotter and I (Scott) just finished a bike ride of a few miles; he said "Hi" or "Hieee" to every person,dog, and almost all posts or signs we met along the greenway path. It was a lot of fun. The one on one time with him is great and all, but we miss mommy while she is in Twin Falls picking up Joe ( can't wati for you to come home buddy!). The best part of the night was just a small thing, as I was putting him in bed. We read a bit about David and Goliath and then it was lights out. As i got up from his bed he said two things... "Duck" and "byeeee" the first word without much expression but the latter with the biggest smile I have ever seen him make. Next, he tipped up his sippy cup and began to gulp his water down with one hand as the other waived. As I slowly shut the door he never stopped waiving, it was the best thing ever. I LOVE BEING A "DAD."
