The City of Pocatello has the coolest summer program for kids called Free Park Lunch. As can probably be assumed, any kid in Pocatello (18-) can go to one of the many parks in Pocatello and get a free brown bag lunch and play with the other kids there at the park. Scotty loves going and watching the other kids play. We usually get there about once a week.
So we went with Joe the other day and had so much fun. Scotty and Joe had lunch from the park, and I can't remember what I ate... anyway, when lunch was done we headed over to the playground and both boys had fun.
Joe is so good with Scotty. Here he is after helping Scotter get his lunch. Scott wishes that he could get a free lunch or free anything for that matter(let alone go down a slide or two).
The guys enjoying their lunch.
I think Jane is jealous of Scotty's hamburger....
Checkers anyone?

Look what I can do when Mom is busy with the camera...

I can't help but wonder what he was thinking.
I love my little man.
This takes a lot of concentration, and it is a lot harder than it looks. It is very important that I get all of this sand to the slide. Please don't interrupt me mom, and would you move, you are right in the way!
Scotty hasn't decided if he likes slides or not yet. Sometimes he is still afraid of them, and sometimes he has a lot of fun on them. Here is Uncle Joe helping him feel more comfortable on them...
or not.
He liked going with Uncle Joe.
Jane's turn!
Scotty has started getting more daring than I like, but I guess that's what happens with a boy!! After I took this picture, he started climbing up that ladder. I was helping a fussy Jane and didn't notice until he climbed to the top and was trying to climb across before I realized what he was doing and got him down. Joe had a lot of fun with that spiral thing. He was pretty proud of himself for climbing it... so cute!
More pics of the slides. This is my fun with photoshop...
Again, I'm not sure if he likes the slides, but he still wants to go down them.
At least I know Joe likes them!

Julie,
Your kids are so cute. I wish they had a park program like that here! And for Joey, I need one of those! He is such a sweet young man. I miss him. Your'e so lucky to have such wonderful kids and a wonderful helper. It's still hard for me to believe that you even have kids. But I guess it shouldn't be too hard, I have four! Oh, the days of chasing around missionaries, isn't it so much more fun to chase the kids! I wish we could do it together. Love ya, Holly
