Kade and Emma, Together Forever

This past weekend we went to the wedding of some of our best friends, Kade and Emma. It was beautiful. I haven't been to a wedding for a while, so it was great to be back in the temple and to have the opportunity to witness such a beautiful union. I think these two were meant for eachother. Joe came up with us to watch Jane outside the temple, with the help of some of Kade's family and Scotty stayed at Grandma Porter's for the day.

You are not seeing things, this is Scott... carrying the train. He insisted on being the one to hold it, and wouldn't let the little girl do it! - ok, maybe not. But it sure was fun to tease him about it!
The pretty little princess.
We spent most of the day doing wedding stuff. The ceremony was in the late morning, luncheon in Blackfoot, then reception later that evening in Blackfoot. It was so great to spend the day with Scott and Joe. We were able to just relax and talk (something that I can never get enough of with Scott). Rhoud and Susan met us at the reception and brought Scotty to us. I know I sound silly when I say this, but it was so wierd to be away from Scotty for so long. I guess it was only 8 or 10 hours, but it felt like so much longer. When we were at the reception, and I new they were on their way, I started getting so excited to see him. Every few minutes I would look toward the driveway to see if they were there. When I finally did see him, I jumped up (which was kinda rude b/c I was in the middle of a conversation - but I couldn't help it!) and literally ran to him.Am I losing it?? I was so excited to see him I even let him have a sugar powdered cookie while he was still in his nice clothes.

That evening, the clouds were doing some crazy stuff, so Joe took a few pictures. The pictures didn't do it justice (they rarely do) but it still looks cool.
On the way home, Scotty was so happy to be back with his family. And I loved seeing my little man's smile again!

Anyway, the day was beautiful, we are so happy for the newly-wed's.
