Last night Scott and I had the opportunity to clean the Idaho Falls Temple. The whole evening was such an amazing experience. Before we got started, the head janitor talked to us a little about what we were going to be cleaning and gave out a few instructions. She then said something that I don't think I will ever forget (and just in case I do, I can read it here!). She quoted Mosiah 2:17, "...when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." She went on to say that while we were there cleaning, there was no middle man, we were simply serving God; cleaning His house. That definitely made me want to double check my work! What an amazing experience. I loved being able to serve my God, and hope that I will be just as inspired every day to serve him in whatever way He asks.
