We went up to Kat's this past weekend to relax and get some family pictures as well as Scotty's one year pictures done. I am in awe of what Kat can do with a camera, as I am sure all of our family agrees. I love the way the pics turned out and can't wait to have them up on my wall. The hard part is going to be figuring out which ones to frame.
I feel so blessed to have such a beautiful boy. I never knew I could love someone the way I love my little man. As this chapter of our life as a family of three comes to a close, I hope that I have given Scotty enough of myself, that he really knows how much I love him, that I would do anything and everything for him. Having him makes the Plan of Salvation seem so much more real, that family is really what it is all about. I pray that I will be the mom he needs to teach him that Plan and help him come unto his Father in Heaven.
How did I get so lucky?? To have such an amazing husband that gives me more than I ever thought I even needed. His love and support makes me love myself and my role as a mother and wife more and more each day. I don't know that I will ever be able to explain to him or show him how much I love him, but I promise to do my best.
