Adamson Reunion

This past weekend was so much fun. We went up to the Adamson Family Reunion, but first, we took a detour to see my sweet friend Angela and her family, and then to Jackson, WY.

We all got new shades from the dollar store before the trip... Janey wouldn't wear hers, but that sleepy face is the cutest ever!!

Angela's town does this awesome celebration of Pioneer Days. We joined her for the celebration with a dutch oven dinner at a park, an airplane that drops candy, live music and fireworks.

We spent the night with her and then went up to Jackson for a quick visit and then off to Island Park for the reunion. My mouth was watering just thinking about a Billy's cheeseburger.

We had such a fun time up in Island Park at the Adamson Family Reunion. I love Ted and May. I wish I had known them my whole life. They are the kind of people you always want to be around because of their sweet spirits, funny wits and loving hearts. One of the nights we were there, everyone told favorite stories about Grandpa Adamson. Scott's and my stories ended up being the same one, about the day we were married. Ted sealed Scott and I, so on our wedding day, right before we were about to walk into the sealing room in the temple, Grandpa wanted to talk to us for a few minutes in private. We chatted a little in the hall, all the while, Grandpa was calling Scott Steve (his older brother's name). I thought it was funny at first, until he kept doing it over and over. As Scott and I were walking into the sealing room I leaned over to him and told him he better tell his Grandpa his name... I didn't want to be Steve's second wife! Anyway, it all got taken care of and I was sealed to Scott. What a sweet man Ted Adamson is!!

The Porter's skit...

The Porter part of the Adamson Family... missing a few Floridians.
