Janey at 9 Months

My Beautiful Janey May.
At nine months, Jane is showing her own personality more and more. She is kind of a cry-baby. I know what you are thinking "She is a baby!". Jane will cry, and I'm talking all the alligator tears she can muster because mom walked by and didn't pick her up. The other day, Scotty was coming toward her and apparently she didn't want him to get to close, she started screaming/crying like crazy. I know he didn't do anything to her because I was watching the whole thing. As soon as I picked her up she started laughing and smiling like crazy. It totally reminded me of when I was young and Hyrum would get close to me, I would scream and cry before he did anything to me - he would get in trouble, I didn't get hurt but he still got punished... it was great, until we were alone.
Jane has also started becoming quite a mama's girl - which I am ok with. She is getting really good at furniture surfing and will stand without holding on for about 5-10 seconds at a time. We are guessing she will walk some time in January. For now, she alternates between the army crawl and being on all fours - whichever is faster for the floor she is on.
Anyway, at her 9 month check-up Jane weighed in at 18lbs and 13oz (50th percentile), her length is 29&1/4" (90th percentile) and her head circumference is 18" (90th percentile - keeping up with Scotty!).
