Why I Love Joe

Joe has recently moved in with our family and I love having him here with us, we all do. It has been so long since I have lived with him and I have missed it. Joe is such a blessing to have in my life and in my home. I don't know how our family got so lucky to have Joe, but I thank my Heavenly Father for him. I know he is a choice spirit and I hope that I can be the kind of sister he needs and wants to live with. So, I wanted to say just a few reasons I love Joe:

• He loves unconditionally and without limits.
• You can always get him to smile by simply saying "Joe, don't smile!!".
• He is always up for wrestling, but only if he wins.
• How much he loves dogs!
• He loves shopping for new clothes... I credit his sisters for this one!
• How he wants to have nine girls and nine boys after Jesus finds him a wife.
• When we are on our way to church, he always tells me how beautiful I look.
• How his leg or head can be killing him, but he is fine.
• He is soooo patient with Scotty (except with his "treasures", but that's understandable)
• The way he talks to Jane so sweetly and says "Hi Princess", and when I ask him to talk to her to calm her down he will say, "Hi Princess, how's your day? Good?"
• How he sings you a song while he is wearing headphones and you seriously have no idea what he is singing, but he sings with such emotion and enthusiasm, that you can't help but love the song.
• The way he loves Scott and follows him around the house just so he can hang out with him.
• How he wants to learn to read.
• He loves numbers and calculators and adding and subtracting. He is so smart!
• The way he likes to do man work, like mowing the lawn.
• He is such a HUGE help with the kids. He doesn't even mind throwing away a diaper for me!!
• How he takes a radio into the bathroom when he showers and sings along to it.
• How much he loves his mom.
• They way he says "COOL!" when he sees a motorcycle.
• He tells all of his sisters that they are his favorite... what a schmoozer!!
• How he needs an iphone - and any other cool looking electronic devise he sees.
• The fact that he has a blanky.
• The way he says, "I hate poke" and "I love dog!".
  

Ok, so this list could go on forever! Even now, I keep going back and adding to it. He is just so fun to have around. I love that Scotty can spend this time with his Uncle Joe. Scotty really loves him.

We went to Twin Falls today to meet Kat and Mikey for lunch so Joe could hang out at their place for a while. We met at Shoshone Falls. It was such a beautiful day, perfect for a picnic. Thanks Kat!!
