The Patient One

Jane was waiting for me to get done paying bills and playing on my blog tonight. She was being so patient and cute that I couldn't help but get a few pic's and take a video. I love my little girl.

We went to the doctor today. She weighed in at a whopping 8lbs 12oz (7th percentile!!). You would think I produce skim milk by the way she is growing! - but the doctor didn't seem too concerned about it. At least she is getting taller... she measured at 23 inches (75th percentile). Bi-ceps haven't grown, still 4 inches. And head is 15 1/4 inches (only the 50th percentile - she still has time to catch up to Scotty). Today was also the dreaded shot day for the 2 month vaccines. Jane did well. She has been kinda fussy and needy today, but I didn't mind giving her the extra love she needed. And now Dad is home from his softball game so he can love her while I blog - life is good!

The other night we were watching Reign of Fire (Scott's turn to choose the movie, which I didn't mind b/c it had Christian Bale in it, but come on... dragons??). Toward the middle/end I was getting really bored, so I started taking pictures of Jane. By the time the end of the movie came around I was kinda bummed b/c I wasn't ready to be done. My daughter is just so adorable I didn't want to stop! Plus, I don't get nearly the amount of time I want to just hold and love on her. I just want her to know how much I love her and how blessed I am to have her.
