Merry Christmas

I made two Christmas cards this year. I only sent out one, but really like both, so I am going to post both of them on here, as well as our letter to family in friends - but since we were short on postage funds this year, we thought we would hit up everyone we wanted to send a card to but couldn't - so here you go!

Merry Christmas…

This year has been a blessed one for us. The phrase, “Fear is the opposite of Faith”, has been repeated about a million times in our home and has kept us looking to the future with optimism. It seems that time and again we are shown that God’s blessings for us are far greater than anything we could have asked for, and we are grateful for His mercy on our little family.

Scott recently got a new job here in Pocatello, which he likes more and more every day. Although we are sad to leave Tastee Treet, we plan on frequenting the restaurants often for our daily dose of goodness!

Scotty is such a sweet little man and big brother. Currently, his favorite things are jumping off the arm of the sofa, wrestling his Dad and sister, playing in the snow and reading books after Mom puts him to bed. While he loves his Dad, Scotty is quite the mamma’s boy, and to be honest, I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Jane, or Sweetheart, as her big brother calls her, is our little firecracker. Just three months shy of turning two; she does whatever she can to keep up with her big brother, including jumping off the arm of the sofa, attempting the mastering of the “big potty”. Jane has also become our little bookworm the past few months, she just can’t get enough.

I keep myself busy with being the mom to the sweetest kids in the world and the wife to the most amazingly supportive and hard working man. Lately, I have become a little consumed with my sewing machine, the drill and the saw, and love coming up with new projects, and spending as much time as I can in the craft room.

We hope this card finds you happy and blessed!

…and Happy New Year!
