It has been forever since I have written in here. I don't know why. I guess I just needed a break. But I don't want to miss the chance to talk about my adorable babies for too long. I don't remember if I mentioned their 1 and 2 year stats... I know it has been a couple months since those doctor appointments; better late than never I guess...
So, as of their appointments on March 30, 2010:
Scotty Rhoud, 25 1/2 lbs, 35 inches long, with a head circumference of 20 inches.

Jane May, 21 1/2 lbs, 29 1/2 inches long, with a head circumference of 18 1/2 inches.

Scotty is talking more and more. So often I find myself stopping and asking myself, "Did I just have a conversation with him?" More often than not our conversations involve some kind of tractor, train or helicopter. This little guy is all boy. Although, much to his Dad's dismay, whenever I ask him the color of something, "pink" is his first answer (I can't blame him though, it's a great color).
Scotty has the sweetest little voice. Lately, he has been putting an inflection on the end of all his sentences. It doesn't matter if it is a question or a statement, the end of his sentences almost have a squeal on them. "Janey go outside?", "I go play tractor?", "Scotty all done." All of these would have a squeal. It is so funny.
Scotty has also developed a bit of a shy streak to him. Which I am OK with. He used to be a little too friendly with strangers, walking up to them, wanting to be picked up. I find it sweet when he hides behind my leg or wants to be held when someone he doesn't know comes up to talk to him, I guess I just like that he knows he is safe with me.

Jane is becoming quite the little Daddy's girl. As soon as she see's him, whether it be the first thing in the morning, when we walk in to Tastee to visit for lunch, when he gets home from work, or at church when I walk back into the Sacrament room from taking her out to change her diaper, she will yell "Da! Da! Da! Da!", until he acknowledges her or she is in his arms. She loves her Da.
She is done with bottles. I know, I know... it's about time! Scotty was done with bottles by 13 months (if my memory serves me right), but Janey just seems to little. The ironic thing is that she is way better at sippy's than Scotty was when I took the bottle away from him. She has had months of practice from stealing her big brother's. She doesn't really seem to mind, except in the middle of the night.
Janey has started babbling a lot these days. It's hilarious how matter of fact she is too. I need to get it on video. She is a bossy little thing, I don't know who she could have gotten that from :). To be honest, I am terrified she is going to be just like I was growing up.
