My sweet little angel girl is 7 months old and I can't believe it. I love Jane. I love her with all my heart. I love having a little girl and I love that she is my little girl forever! I love her little grunts when she is mad, and her sweet smile when I come in her room to get her out of her crib. I love that she loves to play with her big brother, as long as he is being soft. And I love that she is kind of a mama's girl, but still needs her "daddy time".
I was singing parts of a Young Women's song to her today, "Walk tall, you're daughter, a child of God. Be strong, please remember who you are. Try to understand, you're part of His great plan. He's closer than you know, reach up, He'll take your hand." I started crying as I sang it to her remembering how much this song helped me when I was younger, and then thinking about her as a Young Woman and how much I want her to know that she has a Father in Heaven that loves her so much. That she is part of his Great plan. That there is no greater happiness than what she can find in her Savior's love. I love that I am Jane's mom, and I love that I get to teach her all of these amazing truths.
