After three weeks of trying to get out and cut down our Christmas tree, we finally got it this morning. We had gone out to Soda Springs earlier this week to try to get it, but even though we had borrowed a four-wheel drive vehicle, the snow was too deep to get to any trees. So this morning we went to a local vender and bought one. It turned out to not be too bad we went to a little place called "Santa's Forest" that was run by these two men that were deaf. Scott had a fun time practicing his sign language and we both learned how to say "Merry Christmas" in sign. We had a great morning decorating the tree and wrapping presents while Scotty was taking his nap.

It finally feels like Christmas... and I love it!!
We are still in need of a star... I have been holding out till I find the "perfect" one. We got a little tree so we could put in up on the table and hopefully we can at least have a few seconds warning before he destroys it.

These are a few of our favorite ornaments...

MERRY

With one or both flat hands with palms facing in
do circular movements touching the chest.
One hand is often used by itself.
(This suggests happy feelings from within)
CHRISTMAS

Move the right C hand in a sideways arc
to the right with the palm facing up.
Movement requires simultaneous lipreading
for full comprehension
