Today was one of those days for Scotty, and it came out of no where. Most of the time I can see them coming, and prevent it with keeping the TV off or getting outside earlier than usual. But despite my best efforts, today was just one of those days.
So, after a morning that I would rather forget than blog about, I decided to take the kids to the Treet so Dad could deal with them, if for only a half an hour. As we pulled up to the Treet Scotty and I both saw it, and it couldn't have been a better day for it.
Scotty was a little nervous about being by himself in such a huge truck, so I climbed in and sat with him... I don't know that I helped any.
Scotty was fascinated and Jane wanted nothing to do with the truck. Dad took care of Jane, and I got a break. All of us had a great rest of the day.
