One More Time

I wanted to get to the beach at Bear Lake and pretend that I don't live in a state that only has 3 months (if we are lucky) of summer a year, at least one more time. Luckily, we got a chance to go with Ryan and his family over Labor Day weekend. It was a little cooler than we had hoped, but it was still great. Janey and Scotty loved playing in the sand with their cousins.

Later that evening, we went up to Ryan & Andrea's campsite to have a little dinner and roast some mallows. I was sad to leave, because we all loved camping, but the idea of a nice warm shower and bed was more enticing than a chilly, sleepless evening in the tent. For now, we'll have to wait till next summer to camp again, I don't know how well the kids would do winter camping.
