We Miss Joe!!

This past weekend I flew out to West Virginia to take Joe to live with Mom. I don't think our little family will ever be the same. We loved having Joe live with us, and we loved having him as a part of our little family. This morning when Scotty woke up, we were walking up the stairs and he pointed toward Joe's room and said "Uh go Joe?" (Where go Joe) in the cutest little questioning voice. It brought tears to my eyes (I know, I know, I am way too emotional about that kind of stuff).

Anyway, I feel blessed that we had him, if only for a few months. We can't wait to visit, and have him visit us. Just one more reason I am grateful for the blessing of forever families!!

A few nights before Joe left, Scott and I took him on a special date night. The three of us went out to eat, to the local skating rink, and then up to Lava Hot Springs with Kassie and Jay. It was such a fun night, and Joe was awesome at the skating rink - as soon as we got him out of the old school skates and into some inline skates!!
