It's official! Scotty is potty trained! It has been a week since he has had an accident. I am so proud of him! I was a bit nervous when we started this adventure. I kept telling myself (and many others told me) different reasons he couldn't do it; he was too young, he wouldn't understand, only girls start this young. If it had been my decision, he would have started in about 6 months. Just for fun I bought him his very own Elmo underwear, I found a potty chair on sale, so we had it and Scotty would play with it. Then one day he took his diaper off and said "potty!". So, again just for fun, I took him to the potty. And just for fun, I put his cute underwear on (he looks so grown up in it!). And then I though "why not?". So, with a little encouragement from my sisters, we started potty training the little man.
I was nervous that he would digress while I was in WV, which he did, but he got right back on track when I got home. I am so proud of this sweet little boy that is mine.
