Since the arrival of Jane, our lives have been turned upside down and inside out... not that it is a bad thing. In a way it has been like a spring cleaning to our routine - getting rid of unnecessary junk or habits, only keeping the essentials, and making room for more. In our case, we have made room for our sweet little girl and the little bows that go with her!!
Scotty is learning to be soft... finally. And at times, seems like he actually likes his little sister. Once in a while he will get really close to her face with his and in the sweetest little Scotty voice say "De-de, de-de", and smile up at either me or Scott... so sweet!!
Jane is growing so fast. Last night as she was up for no apparent reason, I had a chance to just hold her and look at her (I love those times, I just wish I was a little more awake for them!). While we were hanging out in the wee hours she looked into my eyes and smiled 3 or 4 times, that seemed to make the fact that it was 3am and I was not sleeping totally worth it. I just can't get enough of her toothless smile!
So, here are just a few shots from the past month of madness. Since I don't get nearly the time to blog that I would like, I figure I better at least get some of my favorite picture up.
So here it goes...
This is Scott, dealing with the craziness of family life. He has picked up break-dancing... try it on the kitchen floor next time honey... less rug burn!!:)
Scotty's first time on a real swing. He loved it! We were going to go the next day, but it snowed!! One of these days, summer will be here... at least that's what we are told.
Scotty was trying to go to work with Dad. This kid LOVES his Dad!!
"How do I look Elaina?? I know I don't quite fill mine our the way you do, but give me a little time!! I love you!!"
We went to dinner the other night with Kade and his girlfriend/unofficial fiance, Emma. Scotty loved Kades iphone - Sorry big guy, that toy is a little too pricey!!
We are so excited for Kade and Emma. They are so sweet together!
One of these days I will get Scott to stop looking so wierd in pictures. Until that day though...

Laura looked at the pics with me and loved them. I love to hear her say " Awww, Scotty is so cute" or "Awww, Jane is so cute". Her first question to Scott's break dancing was so innocently posed, "What is Uncle Scott doing?".
Love you guys! Hang in there!
