Easter Fun

This past weekend was such a busy one. On Saturday we went over to the Porters and had such a fun time watching all the cousins hunt for eggs. Brittany made a special Easter bunny pinata that the kids all had such a fun time with. Scotty didn't really know what to do with it. He was more interested in looking at the bat than actually swining it - we'll work on that this summer at Dad's softball games.

After Scotty and Holly got bored with hitting the pinata they found something else to play with... poor Rex!
I love how Joe was right in there with all the kids getting candy after the pinata broke... but I'm not complaining!! - thanks to him I have quite the loot here at home.

Scotty didn't quite understand the idea of collecting the easter eggs. After he found two eggs - one for each hand - he would just drop one to pick up another, none of them ever made it into the basket, but he had fun.
If you look closely, he is dropping th pink egg to pick up the blue...

We also had a chance to get Easter family pictures, so as soon as I get them I will post some. I'm sure they turned out great, considering the photographer - KAT FISHER!
