Babies Babies Babies!!!

Last week I had the chance to have my sweet little Abby for a few days and Scotty and I had so much fun!! She was so good while she was here. I can't believe how excited she get about everything!! I love watching her go from one thing to another with such excitement... and I don't think I have ever seen a baby speed crawl so fast toward the bathroom when there is even the slightest chance that it might be open!! She is just so cute!!




I unfortunately didn't get as many pictures of Scotty and Abby together as I wanted. I stayed pretty busy trying to keep Abby from Scotty and Scotty from crying due to the serious lack of attention! I don't know how moms of two or more babies do it... can I just say you are amazing!!



This picture is one of the few :( that I got of the little princess. She didn't crawl anywhere because the grass was so long!!



Our lawn mower broke and when we finally got it back from the repair man we had, as Jay called it, a meadow. Scotty has started looking and reaching for his feet a lot. Whenever he is in his bouncer he will lift his feet up and just stare at them. HE IS SO CUTE!!

This is of me mowing the meadow. I find that mowing is really soothing. You don't really have to think about what you are doing and the sound of the motor drowns out everything that is going on around you... can mowing be a hobby?? Anyway, I usually have to empty that lawn mower bag about 3-4 times for the back yard. That day, I had to empy it 28 times!!! What a pain in the butt!!

And here is Scotty in his new high chair (thanks Auntie!!). He loves being up high by mommy and daddy at dinner time and when mommy is cleaning the kitchen. He hasn't started eating solids yet, we are waiting till the 6 month mark, so he just plays with his blue duckie for right now.

Yesterday Scotty was so funny! I put him down for his last nap of the day at about 4pm and then went to call Auntie Itsy. About 15 minutes later I went in my room and turned on the monitor and discovered that he had woken up and was just in there talking to himself. I left him in there thinking that he would just fall back asleep... wrong!! Forty-five minutes later he was still talking to himself!! I finally went in and got him and found him scooted up to the top of his crib just looking around and playing with the crib bumper. He had this huge smile on his face when he saw me, but of course it left as soon as the camera came out!!

And one more of my sweet little boy. He was so tired after playing at Grandma and Grandpa Porter's house with his cousin Nick that he couldn't stay awake when I got him out of his car seat! I love my little boy!WE ALSO WANTED TO BE THE FIRST TO SAY HOW EXCITED WE ARE FOR ITSY TO HAVE HER LITTLE GIRL!! SCOTTY CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE A GIRL COUSIN THAT IS SMALLER THAN HE IS SO HE CAN PULL HER PIG TAILS!!
