My Green Thumb

So, I never knew how much fun gardening could be until this past weekend when I planted my first garden. I had such a great time planting the veggies that I started to go a little crazy planting some rocks... Ok, so it is more of a little "rock walk", as we call it, but I still enjoyed it. My garden looks like it is doing really well right now because I used a few starters along with the seeds.

The vines that Scott planted last year for me are beginning to grow again after the long winter. They look so pretty!!

I planted flower seeds in a little indoor greenhouse thing that I bought, and in a few weeks I am going to plant them outside. I am working on the front yard too, as soon as that starts looking decent I will post some pictures of that too... I don't want everyone to see how awful my front yard looks right now (having the neighbors see it is bad enough!!). I will keep posting pictures of my garden as it grows. Hopefully it will do well since I am talking about it so much...

Anyway, as you can see Scotty didn't mind hanging out with Mom while I worked on the yard. As long as the sun isn't in his eyes, or he is wearing his cool shades, and he can see and hear me, he does great. I think he looks like the cool kid in town with his new shades... what do you think?I don't think I mentioned that we took Scotty in for his 4 month check up and the Doc said he is doing great! Baby is 14 pounds and 7 ounces! I know that doesn't compare to some of the Fairbanks babies that have come before him, but my biceps are sure starting to feel every extra ounce he gains!
