Even though Mother's Day is technically over, I am still enjoying the beautiful roses that Scott bought me. He has finally learned that even though buying a planted flower may seem like a good idea at the time, at our house they die just as fast as cut flowers. They are such beautiful flowers, and baby likes them too. I think it was all the bright colors, but he didn't want to let them go when we were getting pictures. I just can't get over how adorable he is! Scott and I love watching him look around and take in his surroundings. It's as if you can see him learning!

I don't know if you can see it well enough, but Scotty started holding his bottom lip under his top sometimes and we think it is so cute! I can never catch it on camera, but Scott finally did. I just love my little baby!!
We also did a little more yard work this evening. Scott brought me over some more rocks from Rhoud and Susan's pasture, I love the way they look!
Scott is such a hard worker! It amazes me how he can get up at 5am with baby, go to class, go to work, spend time working in the yard, and then go off to a softball game and not even blink an eye. I am so lucky to be married to such an amazing man!! Tonight he worked on cutting down the parts of our neighbor's tree that hang onto our property. It is such an annoying tree. I don't know the name of it, but it has these little needles that fall and stop the grass from growing, so our front lawn looks awful! The neighbor doesn't like the tree either, but his parent's own the house and won't let him cut it down. He is hoping that since we cut part of it and made it look so funny that he will get the go ahead to finish the job. I think Scott looks so cute up in the tree. He is such a little boy at heart.

Scott is also working on this tree stump in our front yard. I guess this tree was a weed tree that got way overgrown. If anyone wants to come help him get it out, come on over! I bet he would love one of his big strong brother's to come help...
Baby and I played around with the camera while Scott was up in the tree. He was squealing while I was taking these pictures.

Julie, I started feeling bad for not getting up to look at the picture of Scott in the tree, so despite my five inch, raw, bleeding gash, I've now seen the picture. Nice work! -- BP
