I Made That!!

As anyone who reads this already knows, I like to brag on my kids and husband a lot; and why wouldn't I? They are my world and I love them to pieces. However, I come from a pretty amazing family as well; a few engineers, an accountant, a seamstress and great moms and dads to boot! One day I will live up to these great siblings of mine, for now I will just admire them for all they do.

So... I have been making quilts since I was a teenager. I would say it is one of my most favorite hobbies. Recently, however, I have been wanting to push myself and broaden my sewing horizons. So, thanks so my amazingly talented sister, Caroline, I have just completed my first dress.

Her pattern (that she made!!!) is available here. She also has a blog called Carolina Fair, that you can see a bunch of other things she has made. It was so easy to make. Since it was my first dress, I was a little nervous to try to make it, but since it was so easy it has inspired me to make more clothes for my sweet little girl!! Thanks Caroline for the great pattern and the great example you are to me!!
